After deciding it was time for a career change, I joined the team at The Law Practice Leasing as a Leasing Coordinator. My duties during this time were to answer all phone calls, deal with all emails coming through from clients, contractors and the public. I dealt with walk-ins which helped give me further customer service experience dealing with the public. I also filed away paperwork and kept it up-to-date.In April 2016, I was then promoted to Leasing Manager and became responsible for a new member of staff, who was a trainee when they started. My duties then also included training a new member of staff, dealing with all issues related to the business, taking over the finances which included paying money out to clients. Taking on this role has boosted my experience of working in customer services, as I have dealt with numerous difficulties and issues, and usually having to work to a tight dead line. I am used to working in both a team and on my own within this role. I feel like my current role has prepared me for taking on any challenge and has helped me develop further. Show less

While working at Abacus Nursery I had many different duties, which ranged from caring for and supervising the children, ensuring daily tasks were done, carrying out the daily routine, supervising the children at lunch and snack times, interacting with the children and playing alongside them and ensuring the children were always happy and content at all times. During the 14 months I spent at Abacus, working as a team was essential on a day-to-day basis. However, using your own initiative was just as important and communication skills were key. Show less
