• Holding my duties as project Manager based in Ahmedabad with reporting offices at Mumbai and Gurgaon respectively for datacenter & Semiconductor Projects. • For any given project Conducting technical reviews with CSAMEPF disciplines in terms of design, constructability, cost, Schedule & construction administration. Initial site due diligence, • Statutory authority approvals, Environment clearance, site assessment studies (Overground & Underground) power feasibility and power liaison are also being carried out, checked and confirmed from my end. • Checking feasibility on datacenter IT & Electrical capacity planning towards its test fits development on the conceptual stages. This test fits either built to suit or follow template design, are taken ahead for discussion with customer towards the next step to signoff and agreement for detail engineering. Driving the teams for inter disciplinary design discussions stage wise at 50%, 80%, 100% and finally releasing for issue for tender submissions. • Guiding customers team from Issue from tender stage – review of bids, clearing the pre-bid queries on design and constructability and finalization of general contractor. While during construction, coordinating between Customer design team, General contractor, and consultant design teams to close on to the RFI and TDS generated. • I work closely with the Business development & Technical delivery team understanding the operations part of the organization focusing on to the timely delivery of projects to the customers • I can design and deliver project pan India. I am involved on a workfront with different verticals like Datacentre Business, Marine Ports buildings, Liquid Terminals & LPG Piping projects. I am Responsible for working along with the business team at the initial stages,preparing with required business cases based on the site selection,and feasibility check, CapEx and OpEx consideration. I have capability of sketching, conceptual designing, Mater Planning, wood & wood based furniture product designing & detailing, Brick & stone as well as RCC construction detailing. I was designated as a project Architect, dealing with Biomass & Waste to Energy Power plant projects as well as planning & executing their Redbricks school at Santej. I was responsible for discussion of Master planning and building designs along with the Management team, take their valuable inputs and informing the concerned consultants to accommodate the discussed observations and submit the final GFC drawings for scrutiny. I used to conduct weekly meetings with all inter disciplinary head involved for the project based discussions and execution plan. I was a part of Civil, Structural and Architecture Team CSA, designated as Senior Manager (Architecture) into Plant Engineering vertical. I was reporting to the Senior Discipline Lead of CSA discipline. I used to work mainly on Consumable product goods, chemical industries, Pharmaceutical & automotive facility master planning and detail engineering projects. As a part of CSA team my role was to understand the particular project assigned based on clients requirements along with Technological and utilitarian requirements from support disciplines. Prepare with Master planning layouts & conceptual building layouts and presentations. Discussion along with tender and estimation team for building material requirement and cost estimation. Monitoring the technical layouts and sheets prepared by Technicians and junior colleagues in terms of codes and standards of the particular project site location, area, city. I have been part of regular weekly project meetings along with support discipline heads discussing the project timelines, delivery and resolving critical issues. Also for some of the projects were sub consultant were assigned, I used to feed them with project based information as per discussion along with client. Guide them on codes and building standards to be considered and get the work done as per the schedule. Final BOQs and GFC Drawings were checked and approved from my end for further circulation to site team. I have been taking help of Software’s like Autodesk AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Revit Architecture, Sketch up 3D, Gimp, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel. At Mott MacDonald pvt ltd, Right from the Bid stages of the project I have been involved, knowing the Nature of the project & buildings, site conditions, understanding clients initial thought and discussing the proposed facility visualizing their requirements and needs. Coming up with a concept where we can develop it further to a level of design which serves to be a aesthetically & functionally active space along with the inclusions of MEPF Services acting as an heart of the facility/building. Going through the industrial projects at Mott MacDonald I witnessed the same old sheds and untreated related areas surrounding the building, we hardly find something innovative to it, Since going through the past and learning through my experiences as well as meeting clients demands to the current scenario I have come up with a practice of developing industrial facilities with innovations in terms of land planning where I recommend some compulsory practices of storm water and rain water harvesting and reusing it for gardening spaces as well as flushing systems, innovations in buildings applying green concepts to it , for better interior lighting, more of energy saving (HVAC, elec), suggestion of some bio degradable material for exterior as well as interior works, minimizing the use of RCC and related heat catchy elements. This has helped satisfying clients in a larger ratio and even has helped gaining repeat works from their end. At Mott MacDonald I work on various software such as Auto Cad 2d+3d, gimp, Photoshop, movie maker for presentations but I am making extensive use of Revit Architecture & structure 3d for developing project models and further clash detection of the works done by respective disciplines. Mainly for admin & canteen building i was appointed as an chief co-ordinating architect for this project. My role consisted of Over all concept design discussions, preparation of tender drawings & Good for construction drawings as well as site co-ordination drawings. System followed as Site co-ordination drawings prepared after 1st Good for construction drawing issued rectifying the needed portions for more clarity, This Site co -ordination drawings were provided to contractor as an Advance infromation and later on as revised in Good for construction drawings as Architects Information on 1st stage and then final official issue as construcition Managers Instruction which has to be followed by contractor for final commercial purpose. Circulation of this drawings from design to document team to contractors, was part of my duty providing approval to document team to issue for the latest Revision of drawings. Other Docs raised by contractor side like Request for infromation, document transmittal forms for material and field change request etc were being responded from my end at some cases taking proper guidance form my Project Lead. Organising and participating in Material Status report, Construction activity report and safety precautions etc involving construction team & contractors and suppliers as required. Generating weekly & Monthly progress report in form of excel doc. circulating to the concerned and my project lead for easy understanding of the ongoing activities and upcoming activities to be considered. My duties at Vector Projects India consisted of Onsite as well as offisite activities depending upon the requirement of the project. Project assigned has to be solely completed by individual from right from the conceptualization till completion. Overall study of the project space, markings & generating a site layout. Conceptualization or theme based creation of the space was being carried out with regular discussion with lead Director and client to finalise the desired space layout. Finalised design discussion on material application part with client and later with tender team so as to provide quote to the client. Negotiation with client on the quotation part once confirmed moving on to detail drawings and start for material procurement and execution activities. Detail drawing prepared are discussed with Project Manager and supervisors assisting Project managers. procurement of material quantities worked out along with execution team to be taken forward to the purchase team to negotiations with suppliers and release for PO and related commercials.
