Function : Product Management and Marketing Responsibilities: • In-depth analysis of current market trends and customer needs in different industries through primary and secondary research to assess opportunities and present the information to concerned stakeholders. • Take ownership of the product and identify the product roadmap for the next release by doing SWOT analysis of Newgen products and competition and by analyzing the market trends. • Break down the product roadmap into small chunks of functionality, turn these functionalities into user stories, prioritize those stories in collaboration with engineering team and finally create the product backlog for each sprint. • Create Market and Product (functional & non-functional) Requirements Document. • Create product positioning, brochure, presentations, whitepaper, website content and other collaterals for the assigned product line. • Formulate go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product launch. • Create battle cards (Documents and Presentations) for sales enablement through competitive analysis of Newgen IT products against the market leaders by conducting primary and secondary research. • Collaboration with several teams like Development team, Sales & Marketing, COE’s, Pre-sales and Partners across the globe to gain insights on several aspects of product and to create go-to-market plan. • Engage and leverage various analysts like Gartner and Forrester for advisory services and enquiries regarding better understanding of market trends, customer needs and competition. • Maintain/Improve positioning of Newgen products in reports like Gartner Magic Quadrant (MQ) and Forrester Wave by preparing RFI responses and delivering product demos to various analysts.
