      Working in a diverse role supporting a number of business critical departments including Infrastructure, Development, QA, Back Office and Recruitment. Responsibilities included: ● Supporting the IT Management and Operations Director with an 80 seat office migration which included ensuring backups were up to date, shutting the network down safely, arrange for vital network equipment to be transported to new premises safely and securely, server and desktop setup, network testing, cloud based SIP telephony setup and support for users upon completion of office move. ● Creation of an 'API-Centric' web application written mostly in PHP combined with complex SQL queries. The web application was based around a product recommendation API that would utilise multiple SQL queries from eCommerce, CRM and customer databases in order to provide relevant product recommendations across eCommerce, Telephony and email marketing. Working alongside the CTO and Product Owner to ensure requirements and standards meet those set out in the project outline. This was a proof of concept project that was pitched and is currently still in negotiation stages with a leading cloud solutions provider. Other technologies used included HTML, CSS, JSON and Javascript. ● Automation of web traffic for a demonstration eCommerce site using Watir WebDriver, also used for carrying out full user journeys on eCommerce websites for testing purposes. ● Customisation of SugarCRM for proof of concept demonstrations including adding frames to display the PHP based web application and utilise data within the CRM to make API calls using the PHP cURL library. ● QA Support with a leading telecoms organisation on internal authentication applications.
