  Ensure smooth efficient and reliable operation of power houses operation and maintenance activities round the clock, My duties include Operation and their Maintenance of Mechanical Equipment's (i.e. oil coolers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, centrifugal pumps etc....) installed at Power Plant Supervision of Startup & Shut down of engines along with the auxiliaries. Routine, Periodic Maintenance, over hauling and troubleshooting equipments and systems Management of daily work (issuing trouble reports, arranging work priority, isolation & tagging of the equipments) Gas engine operation Island and operation of machines in emergency Operation of cooling water system to deal with abnormal conditions occurring from time to time Assists in the operation of the Power Plant Assists in the operation of auxiliary equipment in a safe and efficient manner Assists in the overhaul and maintenance of all equipment in the Power House Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work Diagnosing breakdown problems Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment Making the daily work repot of work maintenance department Monitoring and control the execution of the mechanical works and verify that all components are installed in accordance with the approved design and installation procedures.
