I was an intern at my B-WARE Research Center. This was my graduation internship. I worked on removing the drug diclofenac from groundwater. Had to research which kind of soil can remove diclofenac. KILO is a work group that consist of enthusiastic teachers and companies representatives. They work together with inter laboratory research (ILO) for students from the MLO and HLO. In daily practice for modern laboratory, this plays an important role for the determination of the quality and results improvement. In partaking in this project gives better results for the comparison of analysis results between laboratories. Third lines control are highly recommended and sometimes mandatory. At my midterm internship I worked at W.E.B Aruba N.V. Here I was in charge of the apparatus used at the time. I also was in charge of daily analysis, troubleshooting, daily control on that apparatus. My project at this time was to develop and validate an analysis method for detecting and analyzing phosphates in drinking water.
