I am not able to disclose specific details due to my confidentiality agreement with Malibu. However, Malibu has been delightful to work with. During COVID-19, having ability to independently manage my time has significantly increased my investment in managerial roles. I am not able to disclose specific details due to my confidentiality agreement with EE. However, working remotely with EE has been fantastic during COVID. Completing weekly tasks, creating interactive visual content and presenting them to higher executives and managers has been very fulfilling. This opportunity has opened more doors for me to explore and further my career, in multiple pathways. I am not able to disclose specific details due to my confidentiality agreement with EE. Working with a prestigious organization, such as SMG, has given me a huge boost of confidence. I had always admired, as a child, those who worked at the museum because of the ability they had to inspire me and my other classmates. Immediately, I felt very much at home due to a team friendly and family attitude, as part of the staff. Also, attending this environment regularly; I've become accustomed to the etiquette of this establishment and other educational institutions and am hungry to further my knowledge in Museum Studies. Out of 330 students that applied, I was selected by Professor Jane Lewis to be a part of the final 3 applicants from my university to partake in this opportunity to expand upon my qualifications in America. Becoming a Fulbright Scholar; on a J-1 visa, I was one of six students from across the globe to lead multiple projects for the betterment of the Spark!Lab Innovation centre located at the front of the museum. The project I took charge of was implementing an appreciation board that visitors see as they walk out. This was important as it encourages visitors, the majority of which were young children, to engage with the museum objects that would be unfamiliar in their day-to-day lives and make them feel more connected to the museum. It also served as a focal point on retention surprisingly as many came back throughout my duration there to see their work alongside others. In 2019, 2.8M people visited the museum. Approximately 7,500 were in attendance for my stay. We had a total of 768 children, adolescents and some adults participate in the appreciation board. I am immensely proud to say it is still in practice today. Being in this internship was a changing point - it further ignited my interest in museum studies and making people, especially young people, excited about learning in a state that isn't always school. It made me far more zealous to take lead and build to further my understanding of museums and similar institutions. Show less

I’ve worked at a small company called LICKALIX making vegan ice lollies in their kitchen. Whilst I was there, I created 2 of my own flavours, Watermelon Margarita and Coco-Banana Sea salt, this reinforced my interest in how food is made and seeing my own creation was exciting and fascinating. Also, I learnt a lot about the conditions of food and new technologies when I worked there, such as the temperature of an ice lolly before it begins to melt and the type freezer that works the most efficiently. As part of this work placement, I also had the oppor-tunity to attend the Taste of London festival interacting with customers and consumers. Show less
