It was a great pleasure working with Ashan. Tasks entrusted to him could be already considered to be completed. He is very enthusiastic and keen to learn new things. Ashan is a team player and his contributions to research projects were of great value. I can strongly recommend Ashan and he will be a great asset for any employer!

Ashan Musafer has worked in my laboratory for the last four years. For personal reasons, he now needs to relocate to the Middle East/South Asia region. During the last 4 years, Ashan has been a major asset to our laboratory. He has shown himself to be an outstanding worker in terms of both intellectual capacity, organisational ability and responsible work ethic. Being a key player in our development of becoming a professional research and development organisation as well as a diagnostic service, Ashan has always shown initiative and has taken an innovative approach to his work. His laboratory skills are considerable covering next generation sequencing, droplet digital PCR, genotyping, DNA methylation and DNA/RNA extraction methodologies. Ashan has also been involved in training new laboratory staff and higher degree students. Added to his biomedical experience, Ashan has also started developing his business skills by pursuing an MBA. Ashan is well-liked by his colleagues and has a composed personality. He has already demonstrated considerable leadership within the group. Overall, I consider that Ashan is an accomplished individual whom I would recommend to any organisation. It has been a pleasure to have been associated with him.
