Leading the department and reporting to the CEO, I lead my team which is responsible for business growth, seek investment opportunities and decide on financing lines for the retail microfinance providers as well as steering them through risks. I am also responsible for the institutional capacity building of borrowing institutions through improvement in their governance, management and controls for effective growth. Some of the achievements are outlined below: i. Established the main business line/products of PMIC since the inception of the company. ii. Serving the microfinance industry including NBMFIs/MFBs/FinTechs, vis financial products. iii. Taking the assets of company from PKR 6 Billion to over PKR30 Billion and building a portfolio of PKR 27 billion with 26 borrowing institutions in 5 years. iv.
