  Asghar Ali Mubarak started his career as Reporter/associate Editor with PPA (Pakistan International Press Agency, Founded by Chief Editor Mr. Khalid Athar and later inaugurated by Mir Khalil ur Rahman founder Jang Group of Newspaper)in 1987 – 88. He has honor to associate as a Pioneer Reporter with the Daily Khabrain Islamabad, Daily Assas, Daily Sahafat, Daily Imroze, Daily Pakistan, Daily Jang and many other prestigious National/International News papers and News Agencies included: (NNI, PPI, KPI, ANN, IRNA and as Reporter with Radio World Service). Currently he is associated with the Daily MAIL Islamabad as Reporter/Sub Editor. Mr. Asghar Ali Mubarak is a permanent member of National Press Club , Rawalpind Islamabad Press Club, Federal Union of Journalists ,(PFUJ),Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalist.
