Amber is the kind of community leader I wish we had more of. I was the consigliere to Amber's Don for the RISE Civic Accelerator program. I mostly watched in awe as Amber built the program from the ground up to help train the next generation of activists and advocates of color in Johnson & Wyandotte counties. She put together a solid curriculum, and brought in amazingly knowledgable guest speakers to teach its various component parts. Her ability to listen, to collaborate, to include and to lift up her peers is only the beginning of her abilities. She is also a savvy marketer and messager. She has a vast knowledge of the inner workings of our current healthcare system. She's dependable, sincere, and effective in the community and the workplace. She just gets stuff done. I would be happy to sing Amber's praises in further detail and would welcome reference calls on her behalf. Thank you.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Amber Sellers since 2009. She is an advocate for health, oral health, and meeting the needs of underserved people. Amber is creative and thoughtful as she considers solutions to challenging issues. She also is one of the best at creating new partnerships in the community. Her career has taken her to cities across Kansas, and she has thrived in each location. Amber has always been the kind of busy person I can turn to when I need help, because I know she can and will get things done.
