  • Headed a group of 35 students (a Learning Community) from my faculty and it was our job to build an inclusive community between the students and welcome them to their new home. • Owing to the diversity of students, we were asked to initiate intercultural understanding, as the group consisted of members from 15 different countries. • We conducted collaborative learning sessions with our appointed faculty member. • Along with classroom engagement, we performed the duties of a Residence Advisor, which oversaw the resolution of conflicts within residence, and were the first point of contact for emergencies. We also conducted events in the evening to keep the students engaged and create a space for networking.
