Welding Inspection:As a (Welding inspector) Fit-up inspection, root gap, Bevel lip, Bevel angle, misalignment, Dissimilar thickness Bevel Preparation , as per approved WPS and ASME B 31.3,31.4,31.8 Inspection of welding equipment and check the welding consumables certificates Record of welding, Heat number, item code, spool drawing, isometric drawing, consumable batch number, welder number, weld joint number 4. Calibration of oven for electrodes and consumable Witness of preheating as per approved WPS or ASME B 31.3 Check the base metal to be welded as per drawing / WPS Inspection of NDT matrix from isometric, Release the NDT, PWHT, Hardness Testing and PMI as Applicable. Co-ordination with the Key Personnel involved in the project concerning quality Inspection of material before fabrication spools as per approved drawing Checking of pipe spool fabrication based on approved spool isometric drawing, bill of materials, QCP and applicable codes Dimensional Checking, Orientation, Configuration, Material traceability, Transfer of Heat numbers etc Documenting & keeping records of applicable QC documents and reports Initiating non-conformance reports (NCR) in case of non-conformity or if deviation arises from Codes/Standards Inspection of site/shop at various vendor facilities for project work as required  Responsible for co-ordination of all QC works as per planning schedule Welder Qualification of Different Contractors Material request for fabrication of fitting and pipe Control of loath of manpower & solve all kind problems in drawing & give advice for job During my working in various companies and different sites, I have gained knowledge regarding the following safety related aspects through the trainings Show less
