My main responsibilities at Ecostrat are research and new lead generation, content creation, and assisting in project development. I work very closely on the Bioeconomy Development Opportunity (BDO) Zone Initiative, a regional risk-rating and certification program that enables distressed communities to credibly disclose biomass feedstock-related risks and promote biobased development opportunities to investors.

Graphic Design Intern

At the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce I worked alongside amazing employees who furthered my skills in graphic design and business/event planning. I was able to assist and work on their new online magazine; assist with event planning; and create flyers, posters, and advertisements for upcoming newsletters and events. This was a great educational experience where I worked alongside my co-workers to help connect the greater community and bring the sectors of the Niagara region together. Makeup Artist

At MAC Cosmetics I was employed as an on-call makeup artist responsible for duties such as performing makeup on customers, offering product knowledge/assistance to customers, ordering items, refilling stock room, ensuring in-store products were properly sanitized and cleaned, running cash/checking out customers, and performing opening/closing duties such as general cleaning and refilling on-floor products. I was able to gain more confidence in my customer service skills/abilities and work alongside employees who furthered my knowledge in the cosmetics industry. MAC introduced me to a greater experience in cosmetics and beauty as my employees helped increased my skills and confidence within the industry. Show less
