  Tapas is a progressive educational institution. Tapas strives to create, sustain and cultivate an atmosphere of learning so that children may flower. Intellectual capacity, general knowledge, scientific and mathematical prowess alone are never sufficient to meet life's challenges. To be a complete human being, one must continually learn and grow in mindful relatedness to ideas, people, things, nature and to one's own self. Our school has a space for the exploration of such an education. This must be the function of any education - To live, one must remember and relate. We strive to build and nourish curiosity, an enquiring mind and sensitivity to others and to nature as well as an understanding of the global atmosphere. We have a strong sense of community with learning seen as an omnipresent experience rather than one that is bound to certain locations or practices.
