I supervised Arya from April 2023 through August 2023 in her Market Research Internship at Margik Inc., where I work as Director of Sales and Administration. Arya was a phenomenal addition to the team and I would absolutely consider her for full-time roles if we were currently hiring. Her tasks included but were not limited to market research for our target markets, researching luxury packaging brands and automotive lighting distributors that we could potentially partner with, researching and coordinating UL certification for our product, and researching relevant accelerator programs that could be a good fit for Margik. She worked remotely and independently throughout her internship. It was evident to me that Arya was dedicated to her role at Margik when I first interviewed her. She came to her interview having researched the company and with questions, which I value in an intern candidate. Margik is a deep tech sustainable OLED startup, and although Arya was interning in business, she was curious to learn about the science behind the product, its applications on the market, and how it can change the lighting and brand marketing industries. I value interns who view the company for its whole picture, as those are the candidates who have proven to be successful long-term hires. Arya is an incredibly hard worker and I am confident that she will be an asset to whatever company she joins next. She would complete her assignments in a timely manner and with very thorough and detail-oriented work. Arya is also a good problem solver and learns very quickly. She has great qualitative and quantitative market research skills and is strong in market data collection and analysis, and was always able to effectively summarize and communicate the results of her research to our team. Her research was also detail-oriented and conveyed all the relevant information needed, which helped my team to make informed decisions. She is skilled in data visualization and was able to successfully understand the purpose of her research and how it could benefit the company’s growth. She is a great communicator and always responded to my emails very quickly and with enthusiasm, and would always ask for clarification when needed to ensure we were always on the same page and to alleviate any misunderstanding. I am convinced that Arya’s dedication, positive attitude, work ethic, ability to work independently, and ability to learn quickly will lead her to achieve great success in her next role.
