Arwa and I worked together for five years at Faraja Cancer Support Trust where she was the Finance and Administration Manager, a position she held for eight years. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Arwa and came to know her as a truly valuable asset to our team. She is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working. Beyond that, she is an impressive communicator who can relate well with people especially the most vulnerable. For this reason, she was also in charge of booking appointments with patients and managing therapists at our wellness centre in Nairobi, Kenya. Her accounting knowledge and expertise in Excel and QuickBooks helped us manage our auditing, spreadsheets and donor information. She is also quite ingenious with ideas on how to make the office space pleasurable for everyone and still maintain professionalism and a good work ethic. Along with her undeniable talent, she has always been an absolute joy to work with. She is a true team player, and always manages to foster positive discussions and bring the best out of our staff and volunteers. Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Arwa to any employer.
