I have been working on GovTech Lab since the idea phase and together with a very motivated team, we have brought GovTech from an unknown term in Lithuania to a strategic area, both in terms of funding and branding. GovTech Lab has already received European Innovation in Politics Award 2019 and was awarded as the best public sector project in Lithuania in 2019.The GovTech Lab Lithuania is a team in the public sector focused on encouraging the creation and use of innovative solutions for the government. The GovTech Lab helps the public sector identify challenges that can be solved by emerging technologies, engages startups and SMEs to create innovative solutions, and accelerates startups in #GovTech and #TechForGood space.GovTech Lab Lithuania is based at Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA).

As a management consultant, my role included project management, business development, analysis of data, production of final client deliverables. I worked on a number of projects with Financial Services (primarily wealth and asset management) companies that focused on analysis of current state, design of target operating models, options for integration of different teams, recommendations for operational effectiveness and risk reduction.My tasks often required business process mapping knowledge, expertise in operating model design, use of softwares such as Alteryx and Qlik.

I was directly responsible for planning, developing and implementing branding analytics projects, improving business intelligence products and producing final deliverables for the clients. My tasks comprised of setting up and managing the team, collecting and analysing data, using excel to process figures and create automated ways to calculate and analyse data in the future, as well as writing the reports (including summaries, recommendations and conclusions). Subsequently, I was responsible for reporting the results to the top management.
