My job responsibilities as a Mechanical engineer involves 1. Design, installation, and maintenance of irrigation piping which involves water filters, pumps, water reservoirs, acid dozing systems, Fertilizer mixing units, wastewater management systems etc2. Performing Periodic and Breakdown maintenance of equipment’s such as stacker Cranes, Pumps, Chillers, Boilers, Air compressors, Air handling units etc.3. Taking care of production activities which involves operating the cranes manually, attending to any immediate breakdowns which would otherwise stall the production, managing farm workers and ensuring the production output follows the directives of commercial sales department.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer

Working at ALGHANIM INTERNATIONAL GENERAL TRADING AND CONTRACTING CO WLL since FEBRUARY 2017 as MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE & RELIABILITY ENGINEER in a COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT operating one GE STEAM TURBINE and two SIEMENS GAS TURBINES. My Job responsibilities include.1. Planning, scheduling & supervising preventive maintenance & corrective maintenance activities of Gas Turbine Generator set & Base module, HRSG, Steam Turbine and its auxiliaries, Gas Compressors (Atlas Copco), Gas oil Centrifuges & Pumps, Stem Valves (HP Valves), Boiler Feed Pumps (KSB), Vacuum Pump (NASH) , Air compressor (Ingersoll Rand) and various other Pumps and Blowers used in different application.2. Supporting OEM (Siemens) in Annual Outage activities of Gas turbine such as Supporting Fact finder in inspection of Combustion Chamber, Filter house (Bilfinger), Inlet cone and IGV, Exhaust Chamber, Borescope inspection of Turbine and Compressor Blades, Inspection of Gas and Oil filter (premix and diffusion filters) and performing Corrective measures referring to fact finding report under OEM supervision.3. Supervising Gas plant outage activities such as Purging of Natural gas lines with N2 gas, Gas Compressor (Atlas Copco) inlet filter inspection, inlet main header coarse Filter inspection, Gas Turbine final filter inspection and suitable corrective measures are carried out based on findings.4. Monitoring machinery health on a regular basis by using various techniques such as Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound inspection, Thermal imaging, Lube oil analysis. Any abnormalities are looked upon in detail with the help of spectral analysis, time wave form analysis & referring to the patterns in previous readings and suitable corrective actions are carried out to improve reliability and save energy costs5. Procuring, inspecting and maintaining inventory of spare parts and consumables for smooth and efficient maintenance management.

Worked in “TRANS W GENERAL TRADING AND CONTRACTING" as SERVICE ENGINEER from November 2015 till 2017 April. Job responsibilities included 1. Executing bolt torqueing and tensioning projects with various oil & gas and power sector companies in equipment’s such as Heat Exchangers, Chimneys, Gas Filters, Flanges, Combustion Chamber manholes etc.2. Performing vibration analysis Projects with various clients and providing them with monthly report indicating vibration severity and possible root cause of the defect along with providing recommendations to overcome the defect.3. Sales of mechanical equipment’s such as Filters, valves, Hydraulic and Pneumatic torque wrenches along with bolt torqueing and tensioning services, condition based monitoring services Building and maintaining customer network through frequent visits to potential customers, conducting seminars and expositions to enhance customer network and promote products and services.

Performing Vibration Analysis, preparing monthly report indicating vibration severity providing recommendations to overcome the defect.
