• Verification of isometric drawings with respect to P&ID. • Preparation of Test packages • Reviewing ITP Plans and execute test as per ITP • Verification of executed work at site as per approved QC Procedure by Company and in accordance with engineering document. • Inspect materials, procedure and installation for conformation to contract documents. • Inspecting Material specifications based on the Isometric Drawing specification • Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and fittings. • Check fit-ups to verify that it is within tolerance. • Check the inspection reports of fit-ups, dimensional, visual and material summery. • Review of WPS as per specification. • Reviewing of welding consumables as per Test Certificate • Verification of welding consumables as per WPS • Monitoring Welding activities as per WPS. • Monitoring of Pre heat, Inter pass temperature and inter pass cleaning as per WPS. • Mechanical clearance of fabricated pipe spools, erected spools and structural. • Responsible for monitoring and controlling parameters – before, during and after welding. • Visual inspection of welded joint profile, surface finish and defects. • Surveillance during welding to ensure the use of approved WPS and all welding activities, parameters & consumables are according to that WPS. • Review of Welder performance and card renewal as per ASME Sec. IX. • Inspection of Plant piping and preparing of punch list (A, B & C items) after installation. • Witness of alignment, orientation and dimensions of installed piping as per isometric drawings • Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installs in accordance with the piping drawings and the pipe support details.
