- Implementing HSE management systems - Work progress without compromising on the safety of the workforce - Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly statistics and reports on the overall performance of the HSE system. - Conduct safety and hygiene inspections, issue corrective action lists and follow-up on the close-out of these actions. - Chair and report on site safety meetings, assign action and follow-up status. - Conduct safety inspections at site continuously. Advise the man-in-charge to stop all works should unsafe working conditions exist or persist. Provide written instruction to correct unsafe work conditions. - Follow-up and report on safety induction and audit action lists. - Perform safety inspection briefing for all arrivals to the confined spaces or worksite. - Ensure all transport vessels assigned to the spread or site provide safety briefings to their passengers and audit these briefings. - Monitor subcontractors for safety equipment use and safe practices, and provide reports to the man-in-charge for non-compliance. - Monitor all site operations for proper equipment use and safe practices, and provide reports to the man-in-charge for non-compliance. - Initiate, coordinate and record emergency drills, and make recommendations for the improvement of their effectiveness. - Investigate and report on all accidents at site and follow-up on all close-out actions to prevent reoccurrence. - Maintain all safety records at site. - Perform safety briefings, provide training and conduct safety reinforcement sessions at the site. - Monitor environmental issues at the site.
