Bio
Stuart Coulson, SHRM-CP
Arturo came on board as an intern with Soccer Shots DC/MD/VA. We quickly realized his potential and saw his energy he exerted toward his work, so we offered him the position of Office Coordinator. His work ethic was second to none as he juggled his studies, and worked a part-time job alongside our internship. He grew in the position as an Office Coordinator due to his experience and knowledge of the business. His studies in physical activity and coaching enhanced his position with Soccer Shots, and he truly seized the moment to gain administrative experience. His passion for physical activity and sports with youth was the highest I have ever seen in an intern, and I could sense the energy he had for the subject when talking about coaching/sports/health, etc. This continued in his second position with us as a Program Evaluation Intern. He spent the entire summer evaluating 40 of our coaches on staff and calibrated our coaches based on their evaluation score. He drove from Northern Virginia to DC to Frederick to Baltimore for this data. As a large company with over 120 part-time coaches, quality is important and Arturo can recognize quality coaching. I would recommend Arturo for any position in sports as a coach, program evaluator, coordinator, or any other position in a similar field.
