I worked with Jasmine initially as a peer at Peak Support doing community moderation and eventually when she was promoted, I reported directly to her for a little over a year. In that time I witnessed the positive impact she had on not only myself but our organization as a whole. As a peer, she was always willing to answer any questions that came her way and take on any additional work the team needed. As a manager, she was a fierce leader and advocate for her reports, always motivating others to meet their goals and look towards the future. Jasmine is a level headed voice in times of uncertainty - always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done and deliver results. If there is a project that needs to be completed, I know I can count on Jasmine to not only give direction but jump in with her sleeves up to work - she is just as much of a teammate as she is a leader! I’ve always felt that my ideas were welcomed in her presence due to her encouraging nature, she has a way of making those around her feel like they can accomplish anything. While struggling with my mental health and seeing the impact it was having on my work, Jasmine put together tools such as a weekly CPH tracker & slack check ins to help me stay up to par in my role. She communicates in a caring but effective way - she is not afraid to come right out and say what needs to be said but is always professional and considerate in her approach. In conclusion, I stand firm in the belief that Jasmine is an asset to any organization she chooses to work for. I am confident in her abilities as a results driven professional and the value that she brings to any team lucky enough to have her.
