      - Worked directly with a large number of culturally diverse individuals dealing with a wide variety of barriers, mental illnesses, and behavioral issues, by supporting them within their newly started employment. Effective use of active listening and questioning techniques allowed me to identify goals, strengths, and obstacles to continued employment. Managed to achieve a number of very positive outcomes for many of these individuals. - Provided specialized training to clients, which supports and encourages people to realize their potential within the workplace and community. - Undertook regular site visits to support placement sustainability with employers. I applied problem-solving techniques and developed and maintained strong community networks and external relationships with key stakeholders for efficient and effective service provisions. - Report writing and updating file notes on daily basis, based on my interactions. This saw me develop strong capabilities in the use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Training new staff on work ethics, occupational health and safety standards, and legislative requirements. This allowed me to develop confidence in conducting group workshops and one-to-one training. Show less
