Headed an editorial team of 10 editors responsible for day-to-day operations. Spearheading content diversification and growth. Led the strategic vision for content delivery and expansion of the platform, currently receiving 3.5 million readers a month. Led the launch of Youth Ki Awaaz’s gender and sexuality website, Cake – a unique features and storytelling platform representing the multiplicity of queer, feminist and young people’s experiences, with a focus on India.Conceptualised, led and established a framework for using current affairs and news to talk about critical issues such as human rights, politics, art and culture.Established a framework for editorial moderation of user-generated content of high calibre, which has also been awarded by the World Association for Newspapers and News Publishers, and received the Laadli Media Award for Gender reporting. Created synergies between the Editorial, Social Media, Graphic and Campaign teams on engagement and impact.
