Artie and I have worked together for the last two years in the North Carolina organizing space for queer rights and inclusion. Artie has some great experience and knowledge that would be so beneficial. I appreciate Artie's ability to assess a situation and add context that brings clarity and action. Artie also has a strong understanding of the political landscape across North Carolina, which includes every kind of location from the beach to the mountains to large cities to small rural communities. In my work, I don't find many people with Artie's level of understanding of our state.
