3rd year internship I chose to do the last internship of my training at Kwerk in order to open my field of vision and to discover a different universe from the traditional luxury hotel industry. I am passionate about new concepts in the hospitality sector and the project of transforming the way of working by taking deep inspiration from hotel know-how (Wellworking®️) that Kwerk promotes immediately appealed to me. The missions I have been entrusted with are the following: - Supervise a seminar operational team (2 people, coordinators) and manage the seminar organisation. - Participation in the onboarding of members. - Participation in the animation of the community. - In charge of training trainees and coordinators. - Monitoring the cleanliness and maintenance of the centre. - Participation in commercial visits. - Weekly inventories. - Management of the relationships with the resident members and ensuring their constant well-being. - Overseeing the set-up of rooms and the F&B offer during seminar days, in line with Kwerk's quality standards. - Follow-up and member retention in line with Kwerk's premium positioning. - Use of Microsoft Excel and Mindbody software for administrative tasks. 1st year internship I had the exceptional opportunity to do the first internship of my degree in the Housekeeping department of the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. This allowed me to discover and learn about the operational management of a world-renowned palace. I developed a particular attention to detail, an increased sense of communication and organisation as well as hotel management skills. I was fortunate to be given a variety of interesting duties: - Managing one or more floors with a team of permanent and rotating maids. - Management of priorities, control of incoming and outgoing rooms. - Communication with Dispatch and other departments (reception, guest relation, room service, florists). - Packing and unpacking service. - Management of customer and VIP storages. - Management and follow-up of customer complaints. - Personalization of the service - Use of PMS Opera and HotSOS software - Use of Microsoft Excel for stock management and customer data reporting - Complete training of all the positions in the housekeeping department and the ancillary services for 2 months (valet, runner, team member, public areas, linen room, florist, amenities). For the rest of my internship, I progressed to the position of day and evening floor housekeeper (4 months). Show less
