  Responsibilities: > LCD Mask Layout Automation and Verification > LCD Mask Layout Design > Font end/ back-end EDA tool evaluate/ benchmark and problem solving. > Red Hat Linux and Solaris UNIX System Administrator. Achievement: > Create LVS verification flow to ensure correctly electronic connection on panel layout. This flow combine different netlist file from different tools, such as Laker ADP, Cadence OrCAD and Mentor DA_IC. Furthermore, Calibre LVS rule file will be generated automatically in different process by user’s requirement. The flow integrated with Calibre and tcl/tk program. This flow had been adopted in mask tapeout flow and detected several significant mistakes. > Create DRC rule file for difference process like LTPS and FFS. In each process had different specifications and consequently need to revise DRC rule file. This DRC rule file can detect 80% mistake in mask layout. > Build up substrate layout automation platform to improve efficiency of layout designer. Layout editor is integrated with tcl/tk program in the platform. In general case, this platform can reduce 3~5 days of lead-time and improve accuracy of layout in mask design flow. > Build up Design Flow for Amorphous Silicon Gate Design. Flow includes schematic design (Laker ADP ), circuit pre-simulation/ po-simulation (Mentor Eldo), layout design (Laker), RC extraction ( Mentor xRC ) .
