Skills used: -Adaptiveness/Flexibility -Lesson Planning and scaffolding -Creativity Working with VOICES allowed me to work on diverse projects ranging from Documentary film making and film score composition, to developing visual journaling units with Newcomer students. This work pushed me as an artist and teacher to work and lead in new art forms and media that I had either not worked in before or was new to. I am a much stronger teaching artist because of my work with VOICES. Show less

As an assistant to the Chief of University Relations officer, many projects are undertaken to represent the university and to show off everything which Grand Canyon University is about. Among routine office duties: answering phone calls, showing guests to their meetings, maintaining office supplies and organization, a large part of my work in this position was to be of a service mindset and help guests which came into the building looking for a location on campus or asking for water. With each guest I found it important to make sure their experience was helpful and to help them find where they were headed, as many people would come to the office building looking for directions. The largest responsibility I felt in this position was to be a servant and a welcoming presence to anyone who I assisted. Show less
