Lynx is a wholly owned subsidiary of Frontier Airlines Holdings and provides Regional feeder service for Frontier Airlines. The air carrier operates under Part 121 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. Promoted to Lead Mechanic on January 1, 2009. In this capacity, I directly supervise the activities of up to six mechanics involved in line maintenance for a fleet of eleven Dash 8 Q400 and Embraer 170/190 aircraft. Line maintenance provides support for the daily schedule by accomplishing a variety of tasks including routine and non-routine systems troubleshooting, painting, sheet metal repairs, wheel, tire and brake assembly replacement, complex avionics diagnostics, etc. It is a high pressure environment that requires a high degree of safety awareness and attention to detail. I am responsible for ensuring that the recording of maintenance actions by subordinates is accurate and timely. I provide on-the-job training for less experienced mechanics. I have authorization to clear Required Inspection Items (RII) and to sign the Airworthiness Release for an aircraft to be returned to service and run/taxi. Show less
