Thinking about your own personal future and career can be very daunting without proper advice and direction. I have been consistently seeing Art Cox at the Chico State Career center for the majority of my college career. Without his guidance, I would be lost in building my professional portfolio, and the thought of my own future and potential career paths would instill fear in me rather than excitement. Through his own counseling and guidance, however, Art has given me confidence in my ability to market myself. I feel prepared to engage in the conversation of my own career with prospective employers, and I am much more aware of my own capabilities and value. His counseling and knowledge have proven results as well, with me using his support, advice, and knowledge to find a spectacular internship with a company in my field of study. If you are looking for guidance regarding your future, I cannot recommend seeing Art enough.

Where to begin in recommending one of my most valued mentors from CSU Chico... My relationship with Art first began when I was a sophomore in college learning how to properly develop my resume and start to navigate the world of interviewing within the corporate world. Each time I met with Art, he provided clear, concise, and hugely valuable insight/advice on things that I could do to improve both myself as a professional and my resume. As time went on, I consistently visited Art's office for many different reasons, he was one of my "go-to" individuals when looking to bounce ideas with and absorb his knowledge within sales. Art's insight into the business world is well-informed, strategic, and rock solid. Many times his wisdom challenged and enabled me to view either opportunities or experiences from a different perspective which then enabled growth and success for me. Although I'm no longer a student at CSU Chico and have started my career, to this day I still keep in consistent communication with Art to share updates and catch up. The combination of Art Cox and both the Seufferlein Sales Program/team have made a big impact on my skills as a sales professional and I highly recommend both Art and the program to anyone looking to grow within the business world! Thank you Art for all that you do!
