We collaborated for a great variety of projects for the Edge, A Leader's Magazine, Elixuer, and Debu, and it was a great honor to learn from Arslan. He is one of the best writers in town and is always willing to share best practices. He is a very responsible and detail-oriented professional.       I work in the capacity of an online editor for four magazine titles under the Kenilworth Media Inc.: The Construction Specifier, Construction Canada, Pool & Spa Marketing, and Pools & Patios. Achievements: Using organic search tactics and newsletters: • The Construction Specifier – Doubled visitor traffic in the first six months. The traffic has stayed consistent over the year. Increased engagement by 10 per cent. • Construction Canada – Increased visitor traffic by nearly 40 per cent average annually. • Pool & Spa Marketing – Increased 2022 visitor traffic for historically underperforming months by nearly 60 per cent compared to 2021. The traffic for 2023 has averaged around 5 per cent higher than 2022’s. Some of my day-to-day duties include: 1. Sourcing news from the web and relevant PR or other contacts in AECO (architecture, engineering, construction, and owner-operated) industries to find news-worthy content to post on the publications' websites. 2. Edit, or write the news, which is available in the form of press releases or company information, and then post it onto the websites, editing any supporting images for size. 3. Use the news items to build weekly newsletters to be sent out to North American and Canadian mailing lists. 4. Post content from the digital/print versions of the magazines on the publications' websites, making sure to optimize the content for Google. 5.
