Arshad Sir, as we fondly called him, is not only a highly learned individual, but more importantly a brilliant teacher. Among the subjects that i recall the entire class having enjoyed studying the most, the ones taught by him are always up there- Manufacturing Processes & Mechanical Automation. He has the rare ability to bring alive & explain even the most theoritical concepts with examples & insights from his vast industrial experience. He'd always mentor even beyond the classroom- on academic projects, research papers &, not to mention, career related guidance. I still remind myself of the 2 Precepts for Life that he told us in one of his classes to motivate myself to be an ever better professional & individual. It's indeed a privilege to have been his student & be inspired by his passion for excellence !!

Arshad Sir is one of the inspiring teachers I had during my 4 years of Mechanical Engineering where he taught us courses in Manufacturing, Production & Automation Engineering. He is extremely astute & unlike many other teachers, brings in so much practical application to even the most theoretical concepts to make them come alive & be interesting to all students. He was one of the driving forces behind me publishing a research paper. That he has continued to be a mentor to me even after having graduated speaks volumes about his benevolent attitude.
