Ever since advertisers first called for greater scrutiny of publishers' circulation claims in the early 1930s, the Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA) has built a range of audit services to meet the needs of the media industry. The AMAA is also home to the Media Audit Division (MAD), which I lead. The internal audit team gives our publisher members the opportunity to have their publications audited at a fraction of the cost of completing it elsewhere. Furthermore, this internal audit team are best equiped to fully understand the rules, guidelines and standards in completing an audit. This means a stress-free and efficient audit is conducted. The AMAA provides media audit services for a wide range of media, including print and consumer publications, free and controlled magazines, newspapers, exhibition and conference organisers, providers of email newsletters and digital publications, unaddressed distribution providers and websites. Job Description: Audit 1. Conduct Print Audit and Digital Audit 2. Lead the audit process with the team 3. Manage the Audit Program 4. Manage the Quality Assurance Checking in collaboration with HOO 5. Liaise with Clients and maintain effective working relationships 6. Manage the process of Event Audit and quality review Audit Certificate 7. Manage the process of Web Audit 8. Advice on Standards and Regulations revision and amendment to the CEO & Board of Directors Managing Media Audit Division 1. Lead Division’s operational and planning processes 2. Responsible for the Division’s overall output and delivery of Audit services 3. Develop and promote audit methodologies and approaches with Standards revision 4. Provide the team with knowledge trainings 5. Lead and supervise in complex technical areas 6. Manage the Division’s Performance Review and Development Program 7. Provide coach and mentoring to the team of two CPAs and three Audit Assistant. Show less
