- Work with the American University of Central Asia’s New Generation Academy (NGA), a one-year preparatory program aimed at preparing students for admission exams and success in a liberal arts undergraduate college environment.- Develop and use level-appropriate lesson plans in order to support what students are learning in their regular EAP, TOEFL Test Preparation, and Academic Research Writing classes.- Identify gaps in student understanding and work with students on the mastery of their English language knowledge.

Program Development Fellow for the 2022 Social Impact Leadership Accelerator Program

- Support Social Impact Leadership Accelerator teams of <5 students/young professionals engage in a 6-month collaborative development project.- Serve as a bridge between participants and VIA staff; collaborate with other Fellows, VIA staff, and teams to adjust the program pace and activities in response to teams’ progress and any unexpected changes.- Help teams prepare for the Speaker Series event, where they will present their social impact project to the wider Volunteers in Asia (VIA) community.- Contribute to VIA’s research efforts by providing reflections on participant learning outcomes and content delivery methods.

Northern New England AmeriCorps VISTA Leader
