I have been a senior leader in Aron’s reporting structure for several years, first as a director and now as a vice-president. As a Lieutenant Colonel and instructor, I educate and train mid-career (10-14 years of service) officers in a graduate-level curriculum designed to create adaptive leaders who are capable of critical thinking in a complex world. The course of study includes strategic planning, organizational leadership, force management, military history, and military operational and tactical planning. The instruction is student-centric and instructor-facilitated. As Drilling Reservist, I provide instruction and mentorship to US Army Reserve and National Guard officers from diverse backgrounds. The instruction occurs in one, 2-week period every summer and one weekend per month October through May.
