Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Programming, configuring and interfacing Programmable Logic Control (PLC) such as Omron Sysmac CQM1H, Allen Bradley and Siemens Simatic S5/S7. Troubleshooting of CNC machines such as Shibaura and other industrial machine with Fanuc control system and hardware platform. Maintenance, troubleshooting 4 units of V47 660kilowatt Vestas Wind Power Generation System. Configuration of high voltage switchgear control system and monitoring such as 3710 ACM by Power Measurement and ABB SPACOM. Carry out maintenance, repair, inspection and troubleshooting Kone and Demag overhead cranes, and turning rollers. Excellent understanding of breaker distribution bays, contactors, thermal overload relays, switches, proximity sensors and photo sensors. Hands-on experience with communicator and other calibration devices for petrochemical process instruments and sensors. Efficient in making weekly progress report regarding electrical and instrument scope in the construction of 150 Mega Watt Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler, Steam Driven Turbine Power Plant in Mai-Liao, Province of Taiwan. Provides help and support regarding maintenance of different tools and equipment such as 3 phase motors, switchgears, power panel, control panel, etc. Assists and support the commissioning, calibration and installation of different instruments such as level transmitter, differential pressure transmitter, thermal element, different gauges, proximity sensor, flow transmitter etc. Inspection of the installation of motorized valve and its control circuit if conforms to its drawing location and proper operation. Supervised wiring termination of power and controls of instrument from field to DCS marshalling panel and high voltage termination from field motors to switchgear. Wiring check/ Loop check of instruments and motors from field to DCS and motor control center (MCC).

Process Engineer
