Regularly reported back to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on important developments. Extensively covered the OPCW during a period of heightened political tensions. This included consulting on legal and political matters, speech writing and reporting.   The IBA Law Students’ Committee was established in 2010 as an avenue for the IBA to reach out to the legal student community. The Committee is fully managed by students and in 2016 I was recruited from my recently finished role as President of the European Law Students’ Association, as one of two Co-Chairs for the upcoming 2-year term. Among other things, I helped devise a new Committee structure, drafted a new business plan for the upcoming year and managed the officers of the Committee. I also played an important role in facilitating the IBA's relationship with the European and Asian Law Students' Associations. As part of my responsibilities I co-organised the IBA-ELSA Law Students' Conference on International Courts and Tribunals in 2016 (listed under projects below). Show less

  As the President of the Association my main role was to lead the 8-member International Board from the organisation's headquarters in Brussels and to represent ELSA towards externals. This involved meetings with our financial partners, like CMS and DLA Piper and with our project partners, like the WTO and Council of Europe. Additionally, I was responsible for managing our national chapters, with a combined membership of 40 000 students.
