      Morco Blinds is a custom awnings hand crafted company in London since 1956. Over the last 50 years, Morco Blinds has established itself as the nation’s leading design and manufacturer specialist of custom awnings, canopies and pergolas. • Design process: primarily responsible for developing the design of our products –from inception to manufacture and installation– in accordance with the client's requirements and specifications. Handling AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Illustrator, Photoshop and 3D tools to convert designs and sketches into CAD drawings –from specification drawings to details and manufacturing drawings–. • Specification drawings: responsible for preparing technical design packages for external/clients approval before proceeding to manufacture (general arrangements, elevations, sections, plan views, etc. Executing and monitoring all design stages –from initial creative concept to finalised proposals– • Visualisations: producing visuals and branding proofs to show final appearance of our products. This involves reproducing the client's concept into a graphic form and also interpretation and artistic design ability to represent the ideas in a technical form and into photo-realistic 3D renderings. • Manufacturing drawings: issuing completed drawings for manufacture –scales 1:5 to 1:1– within tight deadlines, including cutting lists. Experience with timber, steel, aluminium and fabric. • Management duties: daily assignment and supervision of tasks to the product design team. Ensuring designs are completed on time and to highest quality. • Liaising and building relationships with clients (designers, architects, etc.). Attending to meetings and carrying out detailed site surveys when necessary. • Converting ideas into innovative and constructible projects, overseeing architectural, mechanical and structural components.
