Participate in quality meetings, generate, and analyze quality control reports.  Carry out quality assessments of products. Manage sort, certify, and containment activity in the event of non-conforming material issues. Key team member in customer APQP process and product PPAP submission and approval including PDR, control plans and PFMEA.  Prepare and maintain quality control instruction and quality alerts. Support other teams such as engineering and production in relation to quality procedures and corrective actions,  Support internal and external audits and customers. Conduct process / product audits.  Conduct laboratory measurements and testing.  Track and manage customer warranty and non-conformance issue root cause and corrective actions,  Run reports on Quality performance, such as First time through quality (FTTQ), Parts per million (PPM), Quality Metrics, etc.  Update indicators of internal and external quality performance on a regular basis.  Manage plant floor quality inspection/audit program including supervision of inspectors.

Communication with all departments to create Quality KPIs in all the areas of the company to monitor the opportunity areas and work with the continuous improvement mindset.  Monitor and elaborate the completion of the internal technical audits for the documents (Isometrics, drawings, etc.) projects in production.  Perform internal audits to the production areas and give follow up to the closure of open items.  Determine root cause of detected issues and solve together with the responsible specialists.  Prepare weekly, monthly & yearly report with results of quality audits and closures presented to the top management.  Meeting with Houston head office to report the progress of the internal KPI’s of the company.

In charge of the braking system (parking brake, pedals, fluids, calipers, disc & drums, diaphragm), responsible to give follow up of the claims in the production line and solve issues.  Responsible of the GPTIS (Global Parts Tracking Information System), this is the tracking of the parts when a QR Code in the parts are scanned correctly when assembled. If any issues appear then Root Cause Analysis was made to determine the solution. In charge of the anti-corrosive process application to the vehicles before they were painted, electro Deposition, audit vehicles and process at the stations  Antinoise Pads & Sealer application (white sealer, deadener), perform sealer application audits periodically using inspection formats to confirm appearance & thickness conformity also material audits using special lab tools like density, viscosity measuring tools, sharing results to the teams. In charge of BIW Moving assy parts (Doors), audit suppliers, perform 8D analysis & improve together with Welding process shop.

Give support visiting the production plants located in different areas in the Mexican Republic as internal auditor for launch of new products with the APQP Development, including confirming the proper tooling & PPAP studies for the start of new models.  Elaboration of quality indicators KPIs, claims made by customers to deploy internally in the regarding departments.  Continuous improvement (KAIZEN) implementation in the production line and give follow up.  Deploy lessons learned to all of the production plants in the Latin American plants (Mexico & Nicaragua), have internal meetings for explanation.  ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Jr.
