Working on pricing models for specialty cars, and other niche financial assets. Extracting features from large bodies of unstructured text data to provide insights to consumers on fair price ranges. Extensively used language models such as GPT-3, along with other NLP technologies. Working on pricing models for specialty cars, and other niche financial assets. I am currently working with Professor. TJ Tsai in his Music Information Retrieval Lab. I worked on a zero-shot composer classification model, which uses prior work with GPT-2 based transfer learning models to identify composers via sheet music, midi, and raw audio. I built upon this research by using word embeddings from composer's Wikipedia pages to allow our model to identify composers for which it wasn't trained on. Coauthor of forthcoming research paper to be released in ISMIR 2024. I am currently working with Professor. TJ Tsai in his Music Information Retrieval Lab. In my freshman year of college, I was admitted to a competitive research group with only sophomores and above listed as eligible for the role. I created deep learning models on time-series meteorological data to predict future pollutant concentrations using convolutional and graph-based approaches. I also worked with meteorological data from the AQS API, and wrote scripts that cleaned and analyzed the data. I received a grade ‘A’ for my contributions to the research, and will be listed as a coauthor in the forthcoming paper. Show less

In my senior year of high school, I was hired back to PALO IT to work on my Smart Bin project. I was provided funding, and led a team of engineers to build industry-standard prototypes of the machine. I led the engineering of the physical mechanisms of the bin, as well as the Deep Learning backend that provided the bin’s functionality. The company launched the project successfully under the name ROBin, and subsequently won the top Sustainable Business Award in Singapore due to their contributions to sustainability initiatives. Dec 2019 - Jan 2020
Nearing the end of 2019, I received an incredible opportunity from the members of PALO IT, a global technology consultation and innovation firm, to intern with them over the period of my school break. I worked on one of their ongoing sustainability projects, an IoT system that automates humidification and cooling of greenhouses using AI. I worked on many aspects of the project, including back-end deployment. I also worked on the front-end web app that the farm owner would use to control conditions within the greenhouse, and view analytics and alerts. Show less
