Leading a project to develop an end to end reporting solution which includes extraction of data from multiple sources, transformation and creation of DW/reporting schema on EXASOL database. followed by creation of reports & dashboards in MicroStrategy . Senior Microstrategy Developer

As a Senior Developer, was involved in developing end to end BI land scape for two projects: 1. Smart Watch Data Tracking Reporting: Adidas miCoach Smart Run is the sporting giant’s latest performance tracking gadget and its first attempt at a dedicated sports watch. Based around the already popular miCoach platform, this fitness tracking sports watch has built-in GPS and records a range of data metrics during your runs and cycles, with distances, timings and even heart rate relayed directly to your wrist. 2. Market Ranging : There is a Ranging application that involves product ranging, Hierarchical Reporting, Margin calculations and various other Opertaions. The project was to create a DWH and a Microstrategy Project for the Reporting and setup a User Security Setup to have restricted access of data so that respective Managers can read only their Market Data As a Snr. Developer, main activities were to: • Collect the business requirements and documenting the specifications. • Work with Business Analysts to develop analytical approaches that meet business requirements. • translate requests into database queries, analyzing data, and transforming results into actionable reports • Design and develop complex reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy Desktop and Web. • Create advanced reports, consisting of data analysis by combining a template with filters. • Analyze data, and develop meaningful custom reports. • Develop attribute filter prompts to give end users a choice of different filtering criteria each time they run the report. • Work on support measure for the other related projects and responsible for re-architecting required changes and checking the report results. • Create complex dashboards using panels, panel stacks, grids, graphs and widgets. • Reduce the time taken for the reports to run by taking advantages of VLDB properties and working with DBA's.
