Robotics Summer Intern

Worked as a Robotics Summer intern at IITD-AIA Foundation of Smart Manufacturing. Key Roles : - Integrated ROS with deep learning - Performing pick and place operations on custom 3-D printed objects using a Cobot(Omron TM5-700) using Computer Vision. - Developed a custom YOLOv5 model for object detection. - Used ROS-Moveit! for controlling the 6-axis robotic manipulator. - Used OpenCV for colour masking and webcam input. - Also performed OCR on image targets in Unity using Tesseract-OCR as an additional project Achievements : - My project got the "𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝" under the Robotics category - Received a cash prize of 5000 INR
