I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Arindam for over 3 years at VIAS. He led the Engineering Services team at VIAS as VP of Advanced Engineering and in 2020 assumed the CTO role of the company as well. Arindam is technically very strong in engineering principles and their applications along with the relevant software required in their simulations. The customer's requirements and deadlines are always of paramount importance for him and he goes an extra mile to make sure they are met even beyond the customer's expectations. He has a great eye to the details of the processes along with the big picture of the overall objective - a rare talent to keep both these aspects in purview. Besides being goal oriented and extremely hard working, he is a good mentor for the team making sure they understand the engineering principles involved in the process, taking great pride in their learning process. I cherish the wonderful experience I have had in learning the consulting and services practices from him. He is also a very friendly, open-minded, and thoughtful person making sure that the team not only stays productive but also immensely enjoys the work that they do. His leadership continues to help VIAS establish itself as a simulation vendor of choice with many globally recognized companies.

I worked with Arindam at VIAS as part of the technical consulting team working on engineering solutions using FEA, as well as during my time as a graduate student when he was a visiting lecturer. I attribute to a large part the growth of my knowledge and abilities in fracture mechanics, FEA and approach to problem-solving to his mentor ship. His emphasis on attention to detail and responsiveness was always appreciated by clients. Given the diverse set of projects the teams were working on, it was inspiring to see how he managed to juggle not just the technical intricacies of each of the projects, but also work towards aspects of business development for the company. I appreciate the time I spent with him and the teams at VIAS, it has been the steepest growth curve I have had. I am confident in his abilities to successfully lead teams and would hope to work with him again.
