There are three major aspects to being successful in leadership: having a clear vision, having the drive to manifest the vision, and knowing how to motivate a team to help. Ariel hits all three. Working with Ariel has given me the opportunity to truly be a thought-partner in the direction of programs and impact, and her methods of motivating and inspiring a team have often helped me pull through on tough days. She’s thoughtful and inquisitive, gets straight to the root of issues, and is always ready to dive into the work needed. Her authentic passion for mentorship and teen/young adult development is clear from the work she puts in everyday to make sure their voices are centered. Any organization would benefit from having Ariel as part of their leadership team.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ariel for a 18months at Big Sister Boston. During that time, I have witnessed firsthand her outstanding skills in several areas. Ariel is a solutions-focused individual, and her ability to approach problems with creativity and a willingness to think outside the box is truly impressive. Her excellent communication skills make her a natural leader, and she is able to motivate and inspire those around her. She is friendly and engaging, and her positive attitude is infectious. One of Ariel's strengths is her ability to remain focused on her goals while keeping a big-picture perspective. She is an expert in program creation and scaling projects, she has played a significant role in the development of the Big Sister Boston, Our Big Futures Department. Her contributions to this project have been invaluable, and her leadership and dedication have been instrumental in its success.
