  A waste management and waste to energy project, located in Klungkung Bali. The main product is waste pallet/briquette for combustion, gasification, and co-firing with coal in steam power generators. This project has implemented by collaboration between STT PLN, PT Indonesia Power, and The government of Klungkung Bali with triple helix method (Academic, Business, and Government). “The dilemma in large-scale electricity system in Indonesia can be solved by implementingthe distributed generation power plant concept. Legino (2016) states that the developmentof 1000 Megawatt in 1 location is equal with the development of 1 Megawatt in 1000locations (1000 x 1 = 1 x 1000). In this area, TOSS-KLISI has chosen wasteto energy by converting heterogeneous waste towards waste pallets with callories 3000-3300 kcal/kg. The waste pallets can be gasified moreover feeding to diesel engine. TheWaste pallets can be 1-5% co-fired to the steam power plant. Therefore, the goals todevelop human capital from local communities can be realized and SMEs are able tocontribute in electricity industry. As the distributed generation power plant need to bemassively and simultaneously built, maanged, monitored by local communities, therefore,TOSS-KLISI has developed KLISI as the platform to support thesustainability business and increase the competitive advantage compared with the existingconventional power plant system in Indonesia” Show less

  Appointed by the head of college, Mr Supriadi Legino, a former HRD director of PT PLN Persero, I have responsibility to socialize, manage, and set up the IT & Visual Communication of #ListrikKerakyatan as the solution for the government to succeed the 80.000 MW in 2025. The basic paradigm is "1000 MW x 1 location (centralized) = 1 MW x 1000 locations (distributed generation)". It means the national electricity development program can be possibly realized including the way to sustain the electricity "supply-demand". The distributed generation can make society, small-medium enterprises, and local government can be the electricity producer. They can sell the electricity to the state owned company (PT PLN (Persero)) with the on grid procedure as the Fit in Tariff has been regulated by government.
