I was responsible for the selection and integration of comprehensive software that manages every facet of our cannabis operations, from cultivation to OEM manufacturing for brands. This included establishing a pivotal central database that facilitates the integration of data and APIs, ensuring a real-time sync across various platforms. I also conceived and instituted robust internal processes for comprehensive tracking, from assets to the end consumer. Additionally, I automated crucial API integrations with QA labs and our accounting system, Sage IntAcct. My leadership saw the successful implementation of a B2B cannabis delivery platform, the establishment of a secure, redundant network infrastructure that spans multiple facilities, and the setup of an advanced VPN, granting seamless remote access for staff. I also oversaw the deployment and maintenance of essential systems, ranging from access control and video systems to environmental sensors in 17 grow houses that continually optimize plant health parameters. My vision led to the launch of a data-centric platform used by R&D for cannabis experimentation, and the introduction of sophisticated systems for pathogen detection, coupled with remote high-resolution plant monitoring capabilities.
