Experience

    • Customer Service Agent
      • Mar 2022 - Present

My daily workload includes greeting customers, using a tablet or a computer to check-in customers, instructing customers on how to check themselves in, processing driver license, title, registration, and insurance transactions for customers, and providing customers with a positive customer service experience. In order to succeed at my job, I have memorized the purposes and uses of MVA products to ensure that customers receive the product that suits their needs. I must also memorize, interpret, and apply federal and state laws and standards that need to be met for a customer to receive a product, which allows me to explain these conditions to customers and instruct them if more information or documents are needed. Throughout the day, I process transactions, so I constantly locate and examine information and documents previously put into a customer’s account, then I will review and verify documents presented by customers and ensure that their identity and residence is consistent and accurate. Oftentimes, I will maintain such paperwork from transactions, so the paperwork can be pulled at a later date if necessary. On a daily basis, I work in a fast-paced work environment that requires serving many people in a short-period of time, communicating with customers, and obtaining the needed documentation from them to complete the desired service. I check-out and return work property on a daily basis, and Oftentimes, I must listen to and analyze a customer’s situation and compromise with the customer, while still maintaining legality. If the necessary documentation is currently unavailable, I politely dismiss the customer and advise her/him on the document needed and the reason for it being mandatory. I also advise co-workers on the proper methods for completing a transaction. Show less
