In the 4 years we worked together at the National Trust, Ari became an invaluable resource and a much appreciated colleague. As the recruitment manager, I was able to count on Ari to pick up onboarding of our new employees where my recruitment left off, knowing they would be in good hands: making sure that all paperwork and documentation was in order, equipment and resources made ready, trainings and orientations scheduled, and that our new hires received a friendly and welcoming first impression of the organization. The same was true for our summer intern program, where we couldn’t have handled offer letters, paperwork, onboarding and stipend payments for 20 plus interns each year without him (well, we DID have to handle it without him after he was gone, but that only made me appreciate him that much more!) Ari was also an enthusiastic and quick learner when it came to implementing our new HRIS system (ADP). He assisted in setting up, testing and implementing the system, and fielded soooo many inquiries from staff during implementation, with patience and good humor. While Ari worked in HR for us, some of his strengths that I think will transfer to any field he pursues are his friendly and empathetic nature; his natural curiosity and intelligence, with an ability and eagerness to learn and explore new tasks and topics quickly; his dedication to diversity and inclusion, both personally and professionally. I look forward to following Ari’s many continued successes.
