When I started as CEO, the company was still in a hard reorganization process. The large scale acquisition, which was done in 2007, was not finalized and the economical position was turning very challenging. Systematic work, cost control and necessary changes to the organization, raised the profitability to a good level and made it possible to take steps towards growth. During these seven years, I started and finalized seven acquisitions or business transactions.-Strong focus on profitability and acquisitions.-Fluent with financial matters, P&L reports and balance sheets.-These specialties are effecting strongly for my leadership, which is based on facts and understandable communication including clear targets and KPI’s.-Responsibility of Simeon’s international businesses in Baltic’s and Sweden. -Good collaboration and trustful relations with workers and unions. Responsible daily customer service, traffic management and sales.In 2002, when I joined Kiitosimeon, the annual turnover was on level of 10 M€ and company operated in many different transport sectors. Simeon was looking for growth in tank transportation and dangerous goods and the first acquisitions from that sector was finalized in 2005. As a part of this project, large fleet investment was done and bought from Slovenia.The biggest and most complex acquisition project was in 2007. In this project we acquired four different companies, divested non-strategic functions and scaled Simeon three times bigger. Show less
